Hybrid Forage Sorghum is best used for silage production. Has high tonnage production with the added benefit of grain in the pit. Our conventional forage sorghum is called Bison, best used when irrigation is limited and also in dryland situations. Bison BMR (brown midrib) is best used for high tonnage and high quality forage production. Given that it is a BMR product, you will have less lignin in the plant, making it more digestible and palatable. Our third product is Bison BMR Brachytic Type, which is a big and leafy plant that produces high tonnage of forage with not as much grain as the Bison BMR product.
