Showy Golden Eye

A forb found in the mid to higher elevation sites in the western United States. It can be found at elevations up to 10,000 ft. Grows from 2-4 ft. high with bright yellow flowers that bloom in the mid to late summer. Readily reseeds and does well on disturbed sites. Moderate moisture requirements. Not shade tolerant.
