Canada Bluegrass is a low-growing, long-lived, rhizomatous grass often used for revegetating barren areas. It grows to a height of 24” and has good drought resistance. It is found throughout the United States, but is primarily adapted to the northern states. Ruebens persists in extremely dry areas and regrows quickly after damage from prairie or forest fires. It can be found in elevations up to 9,500 ft.
