Long-lived, late maturing, bunchgrass exceptionally tolerant of salt, alkali and high water table conditions. Recommended for 14 inch or higher precipitation zones where it can grow from 4-6 ft. tall and up to 7,500 in elevation. Somewhat useful for snow and wind barriers, erosion control and wildlife habitat, especially good for upland bird habitat.
